English Language Requirements

Who does this apply to?

  • Prospective students applying for postgraduate research courses (PhD, MD, MSc, MCh) for whom English is not their native language.

Who is exempt?

  • Students who have completed their undergraduate studies (three or more years) in English. 
  • Certified proof will need to be uploaded in the apply online upload section.

Which tests are NOT accepted?

The Following English language tests are not accepted for admission, either they test lower levels of English and therefore don't show C1 ability or they do not test academic English. This list is indicative only and not a complete list.
