The RCSI Student Pride Network was launched in 2015 and holds regular LGBTea events on campus. The Network also supports the annual Intervarsity Queer Prom, a joint event held by Irish universities and colleges each year. For more information or to get involved please see -

Staff Pride Network

Expression of Interest: The RCSI Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Unit would love to hear from LGBT staff and LGBT supporters interested in establishing an RCSI Staff Pride Network. An information session will be held in early February 2018. Please contact before 31 January 2018 to find out more.

Gender Identity & Expression Policy

RCSI will launch a Gender Identity and Expression Policy on 17 January 2018. This will be available here post 17 January 2018. RCSI supports the Transgender Equality Network Ireland (TENI)'s vision of an Ireland where trans people are understood, accepted and respected, and can participate fully in all aspects of Irish society. TENI which seeks to improve conditions and advance the rights and equality of trans people and their families, delivered a workshop through the RCSI Psychology Department in November 2017. Further training for staff is planned in 2018.
