Examiners for Intercollegiate MRCS (Surgery) Examination 

  • Applications are invited for the following vacancies for the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland to participate in the Intercollegiate Membership Examination of the Royal College of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland. 

 

Surgeon examiners

  • Applications are invited from Fellows of the College to examine in the MRCS Part B OSCE which runs in Ireland and the Part B OCC which is delivered in our overseas centres.   

 

Examiners in the basic sciences

  • Applications are invited from suitably qualified anatomists, physiologists and pathologists to examine in the MRCS Part B OSCE which runs in Ireland and the Part B OCC which is delivered in our overseas centres.   

 

Lay examiners

  • Applications are invited from members of the public to examine in the MRCS Part B OSCE which runs in Ireland.  It is important to note that Lay Examiners should not be qualified in professions allied to medicine or received previous medical training. Please review the guidance notes below to ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria before you make your application.
