Welcome to the Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery

The Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery has provided education programmes to nurses and midwives since its establishment in 1974.

BSc, Postgraduate Diploma and MSc programmes were delivered by the Faculty until 2014, at which point a new governance structure was implemented. This was in keeping with the RCSI's commitment to continuous quality improvement and good corporate governance. All BSc, Postgraduate Diploma, MSc and PhD programmes are now offered by the School of Nursing & Midwifery.

The Faculty is currently focused on meeting the on-going continuing professional development (CPD) needs of registered nurses and midwives.
