Gym and sports facilities

CSI offers a wide range of sporting facilities to suit the needs of our sports, clubs, clubs.

Indoor courts

RCSI currently has a sports hall in the basement of the St Stephens Green campus. This hall caters for volleyball, five-a-side soccer, table tennis, basketball, fitness classes, archery and many more activities and events.  

TTThe Aim

In 2017 RCSI will open a new academic and education building, this will contain a brand new state of the art gym as well as an intervarsity size basketball court, volleyball courts, cricket nets and studios.

Dardistown DrawingOutdoor facilities

RCSI has playing fields and courts at its Sports Grounds at Dardistown on the Swords Road, Dublin.

Dardistown includes a flood-lit rugby pitch, soccer pitch and cricket wicket. In addition, all-weather hockey, football and tennis facilities are available.

RCSI GYMA fully equipped gym is available to all registered students of RCSI. The gym is located in the basement of the main College, 123 St Stephen's Green.

Before you can access and use the Gym, you are required to complete the gym induction. This involves completing a health screening form (online) and watching a short video on gym safety. You will not be able to join the gym until you are fully registered as a student with RCSI

RCSI is a multicultural, multi-faith College. Some of our students are restricted in the use of the gym. We provide female only hours at the gym and we ask all students to be respectful of those times.

Monday - Friday: 7am - 10pm
Saturday: 8am - 7pm
Sunday: 10am - 3pm
