1983 Class Reunion
Over the weekend of 4th October 2015, 48 Alumni and spouses from the Class of 1983 descended upon the city Boston and parked themselves in the Lenox Hotel to celebrate their 32nd anniversary since graduation. The reunion was organised by Dr Paul Maguire, Dr Peter Rosch and Dr Siobhan Gogan.
The festivities started on the Friday night in the Lenox Hotel followed in the morning by a diverse scientific session whose topics were based on the aging Class of 1983. The afternoon included World Cup rugby, the sights of Boston and ended with a reception at the original Sam Adam's Brewery at Boston Harbor. The Sunday morning finale was a brunch with much hugging and promises to meet up again in 2018 in Dublin before everyone headed off to all corners of the world. It was unfortunate that not everyone from the Class of 1983 was able to join us in Boston and you were sorely missed but we encourage everyone to attend in 2018 as it is such a great eclectic mixture of people.
As Skip Edstrom of the Class of 1983 said "only at an RCSI reunion do such a diverse and interesting group of individuals get together".
