Celebrating 10 Years of RCSI Dubai

On the 23rd November, RCSI celebrated 10 years of educating health professionals in Dubai at an event attended by Irish Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates H.E. Mr Patrick Hennessy, distinguished Irish business representatives in Dubai, staff, students and Alumni.

This important milestone was an opportunity to celebrate the ongoing success of RCSI Dubai's nearly 550 graduates as they continue to shape and enrich health services in the region. The event was also to mark RCSI Dubai's commitment to Dubai and the wider region.

The evening's guest speaker, Her Excellency Raja al Gurg, Director of the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group LLC (ESAG), spoke about the importance of leadership and understanding the responsibility that comes with leadership positions. She also congratulated RCSI Dubai on its contribution to the development of healthcare leaders in the region.

Representing Alumni, Dr Mohammad Al Redha, Director of the Office for Organisational Transformation at Dubai Health Authority, gave a personal reflection on his undergraduate studies at RCSI in Ireland and postgraduate studies at RCSI Dubai. 

Professor Cathal Kelly, Chief Executive, RCSI, concluded the event by saying "We are immensely proud of achievements by Alumni, and look forward to continuing to work with Dubai to develop the pipeline of healthcare leaders of the future."
